Silikon Technologies began operations in 2014 after sister company, Polymer Conversions, recognized that its current customer base was expressing a need for silicone parts in addition to the thermoplastic products they were already receiving. Polymer, who has a 35+ year track record in the medical injection molding industry supplying precision products to some of the top medical product companies in the world, already had the means; they just needed the space & equipment. The goal was simple; disrupt the Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) market in the same fashion that the Polymer team had already accomplished in the medical injection molding industry. In a short period of time, SILIKON has done just that with the support of the sister company and goals of the Bertsch family. Utilizing advanced technology with an obsessive focus on scientific-backed processing data, SILIKON Technologies will continue to raise the bar for superior supplier standards in the LSR industry.
